Ah, contracts, that much maligned thing when it comes to taps in pubs…. but is there more to it? This episode explores the many sides to this complex issue, and yes, contracts are about more than just taps and multinationals exerting undue influence.

  • Corey said,

What exactly are you implying with your reference to Murray’s ownership?? Is it a terrible thing to be owned by a real estate guy??
    Corey

  • frozensummers said,

Not terrible, but not something that many realise. It just isn’t the small business that people think it is.

  • Shawn said,

What are you implying? How small a business do you need to be to qualify as small? We have a single owner who runs another business during the week and pours beers at our cellar door on the weekend. Hardly a massive enterprise. Being owned by a real estate guy is now a major sin? Thanks for the public smear. It has been a while.

Shawn from Murray’s. (Sent from my Learjet while sipping Krug and planning my next corporate takeover…)

Wasn’t meant to be a smear, only to say that there is something else there, and that talking about ownership needs to be done carefully because it isn’t a black and white issue. There are those that are just 1 or 2 people enterprises all the way through to the giant multinationals with every step in between.

  • Churchie said,

I’m confused. Are you a beer reviewer?
How about you spend your time reviewing beers.
I bet you were enjoying a little creatures while you wrote this rubbish.

I’m sure I actually mentioned what I was drinking at the start of the episode, good to see you were paying attention.
